Overview

Australian live loop artist Dub FX has already announced his return to New Zealand, having only just left the country after a set at New Year's festival Northern Bass.

Dub FX is famous for creating live hip hop, reggae and drum and bass rhythms using only his voice and a loop pedal. He has four albums under his belt, including a collection of recordings from his early beginnings as a street performer when he met his now-fiancee (and collaborator) Flower Fairy. His latest, Theory of Harmony, was funded by a successful crowd funding campaign and features a host of collaborations with vocalists and musicians including New Zealand's very own, Tiki Taane.

He will be joined by one-man electronic band Opiuo, armed with drum machines and synths, Buck Rodgers - an Auckland native known to fuse funk, hip hop, glitch, drum and bass and dustup, plus BaseFM's own Breakfast show host, DJ and Programme Director Dylan C.
