Overview

One of Brisbane's most iconic punk duos is coming to Wellington. DZ Deathrays have kicked off their Bloody Lovely tour to coincide with the release of their new album of the same name.

Not only is the new album (one that's been four years in the making) reason to celebrate, but 2018 marks ten years of the band. Hailed as "energetic" and "euphoric", expect the signature ruckus sound that they've built, as well as cuts from the record that's been called their "most rounded and mature effort to date". Recording the album in stints while touring the globe, the songs are fist-pumping rock and roll anthems. Ranging from festival bangers to tracks primed for the dingy dive bar, you've got all of your bases covered. Oh, and there's a bit of screamo chucked in for good measure, too.

Get ready to storm San Fran on Saturday 28 April as DZ Deathrays take over for one night only.
