Overview

In line with this year's NZ Festival of the Arts, Estère presents Into the Belly of Capricorn.

The inventive songwriter and producer will take the stage as part of Weta's Digital Season of The Late Night Gigs at waterfront venue Shed 6. The evening will see Estère perform tracks from her soon-to-be-released third album, best described as 'electric blue witch-hop', which weaves together elements of R&B, folk and electronic music.

Into the Belly of Capricorn braids together music, theatre, design, lighting and costume, and has been created in collaboration with opera/theatre director Sara Brodie, lighting designer Jo Kilgour and audio-visual artist Kaysha Bowler.
