Overview

Every Wednesday night at San Fran, Eyegum makes the working week bearable with free live music, good company and ridiculously cheap beer. Make your hump day dreams come true this week with the dreamy sounds of Girlboss and Newtown sweethearts Zero Cool.

Girlboss is the project of Christchurch born Lucy Botting aka Wellington's sweetest muso (she's even written a song about the time someone told her she has the kindest face). Formed out of the ashes of dream-pop duo Wet Wings, Girlboss are masters of their own brand of jangly guitar-pop. Lucy's gentle voice and honest lyrics will make you feel all kinds of warm inside.

Made up of Scott Maynard (Pales) on guitar and vocals, Deanne Krieg (WHIM, Pacific Heights) on bass and Matt Maynard (Fuyukos Fables) on drums, Zero Cool are one of the most exciting live acts on the local music scene. Scott's charming and candid lyrics are suitably accompanied by an always dynamic and compelling live performance.

If you like cheap beer, free stuff and sick bands head down to San Fran this Wednesday – Eyegum will sort you out.
