Overview

One of the original godfathers of dance music is coming to New Zealand for a five-date nationwide tour. Fatboy Slim, otherwise known as Norman Cook, exploded in the nineties with his brand of big beat that overflowed into the mainstream pop world.

From four albums he can claim bonafide hits like 'Right Here, Right Now', 'The Rockafeller Skank' and 'Praise You'. Fun fact: Cook also holds the Guiness World Record for the most top 40 hits under different names.

Kiwi audiences can expect the full live show when Fatboy Slim lands next January. After heading to Hamilton and Napier, Cook will perform at Wellington's Hunter Lounge on Tuesday, 29 January. The UK artist last performed in New Zealand at a sold-out show at Vector Arena in 2012, and prior to that, closing the Boiler Room at Big Day Out in 1999.

Fatboy Slim will be supported by Dick Johnson with further local support acts to be announced.
