Firefly Cinema: Love Actually

Overview

After selling out in record speed at last year's Firefly Cinema, Love Actually will once again screen at the open air drive-in cinema.

With a head turning cast, namely Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy and Rowan Atkinson, the popular yuletide film follows the lives of ten very different couples dealing with their love lives in loosely interrelated tales - all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London.

Firefly Cinema is the first and only drive-in cinema in the greater Wellington region. It’s debut season last year attracted over 5,000 movie-goers. With a massive 40ft screen and FM audio transmission, attendees can forget all about cinematic etiquette and relax from the privacy and comfort of their own vehicles. Those who would prefer to sit outside of the car are encouraged to bring beanbags and blankets.

Gates open one hour prior to the movie starting. Cars will be parked according to height.
