Overview

At its heart the First Responders Festival is a fundraiser that's designed to be fun for the whole family or you and your mates — depending on what event you attend.

On February 1, DJs and bands will play you through your Saturday, from 12pm until 8pm, with refreshments available to power you through. The stage will be set out on the lawns St Johns so you can soak up the sun with a cold First Responders Pale Ale in hand.

February 2 is Family Funday, with a bouncy castle, little drivers and other games available for the youngsters. While the kids play the adults can partake in beer-infused brunch cocktails. The Sunday event kicks off at midday and finishes at 7pm.

Both days are raising money for Wellington Free Ambulance — with the aim of raising more than last year — and are free to enter. The festival is put on by Tuatara, Black Dog Breweries and St Johns Bar.
