Overview

In between blowing the trumpet for Scottish indie band Camera Obscura, Frenchman Francois Marry formed his own band, combining the flavours of indie, pop, folk and afrobeat.

François & the Atlas Mountains rose to prominence out of their new home in Bristol and went on to sign a deal with Domino Records before releasing a handful of utterly delightful albums. The band’s fourth LP, Piano Ombre, was released in March 2014.

Marry and his friends will drop by New Zealand for three shows, including dates in Auckland, Wellington and at music and art festival Chronophonium in Coromandel.
