Overview
According to the band's official site fraseross.com, the band Fraser Ross and The Felt Tips have been touted by the Capital Times as "New Zealand's best kept musical secret”. New Zealand's other better kept secrets could not be reached for comment.
Fraser Ross was born on a rugged beach on the South Island of New Zealand, from where he was carried by a fishing boat to the nearest populated settlement. At some later stage in his life he picked up a guitar and started making what is known as folk music.
He's performing at the Botanic Garden Soundshell as part of Meridian Garden Magic on January 21.
