Seriously, what goes better together than beer, burgers and rhythm and blues? Monterey and Death Ray Records, two of the coolest independent owner-operators in Newtown are teaming up for the Go-Go Burger Party.
Get some burgers and listen to Death Ray's Boss Dude (his words) play "the greasiest rhythm and blues, a small history of underground '50s-'70s rock 'n' roll straight from the humble vaults of Death Ray's deep record bins and slave gospel country blues."
Monterey will have the burger area sorted with their delights like southern fried chicken, grilled haloumi and pulled pork. All sauces are homemade, meats are house-smoked and produce is top quality.
Sounds pretty awesome to us. Head there from 8.30pm on Saturday for a night of grooving.
