International travel might be off the cards, but Te Aro cocktail bar Havana is preparing to take diners around the world with its Welly On a Plate doughnut activation.
Chefs Kirran Buckland and Chris Stebbings will present eight different doughnuts from a range of cultures, both sweet and savoury, traditional and experimental. The $25 ticket price includes one doughnut and the boozy shake of your choice. Further doughnut options will be available to purchase.
Visa Wellington On a Plate is set to return for its 12th year from 1–31 October with more than 100 flavour-packed events, special dining menus, burgers and craft cocktails.
