Queen's Birthday is happening this weekend which means a lovely three-day break for us all (cheers Lizzy). Unfortunately, it's the last long weekend for ages *sigh*. Yep, that means we are about to be plunged into the never-ending, hard slog of winter with nary a public holiday in sight.

If you want this weekend to reign supreme, head for Heyday Beer Co. This Queen's Birthday, the colourful Cuba Street brewpub is putting on a right royal knees-up.

The weekend celebrations kick off on Saturday with Heyday Playday. Grab your pals and hunker down for a battle royal, with board games and arcade games, while sinking a few brews.

Fancy a Sunday session without the dread that usually accompanies Sundays? Pop along on 2 June for a tea party — or rather a G&T party — fit for a queen. Gindulge in a few cheeky tipples at the official launch of Southward Gin — a lush new gin distilled on Cuba Street. You'll even be able to sample a few exclusive flavours only available at Heyday.

Then, to cap off a royally good weekend, tickle your tastebuds with the launch of a moreish new menu on Monday. Jolly good.
