High Cheese Tasting

Just like your average high tea, but with better music and some sweet sweet cheese.

Overview

Nationwide cheese subscription service Cheese Cartel sprung to life late last year. The aim of the initiative is to celebrate small-scale, ethical cheese producers in Aotearoa by championing them in their journeys, sharing their stories, and connecting hardcore cheese lovers with the humans that create the really smelly, gooey, creamy stuff.

In addition to the cheese subscription service, the Cartel is now hosting a high cheese tasting. The second Wellington edition of the event will take place on Wednesday, October 16 at Island Bay's The Beach House. Think your commonplace afternoon high tea session, but with better music and some sweet sweet cheese. This is something for those who want to try some new and unique artisan cheeses, with a bunch of like-minded cheese lovers. You will try around ten cheeses, and have some matched wines.
