Soulful voice and a shy soul.
Overview
Wellington singer songwriter Louis Baker’s released his self-titled EP earlier this year, showcasing his warm soulful voice and lyrics. Baker’s EP was recorded in London with the guidance of Andy Lovegrove and Breaks Co-op.
Since releasing his EP, Baker has been touring overseas alongside Thomas Oliver and is back in his hometown Wellington to celebrate his 7” vinyl release at San Fran, 20th September. It is the first time that Baker’s striking voice will be etched into vinyl grooves as well as a chance to pick up your own signed copy at the release.
Louis has his mum to thank for shaking the shyness out of him and showing his voice to the world. After a gradual climb since age 16 he has had to become comfortable singing in front of growing crowds as his music and adventures continue.
