LUX Light Festival

Overview

The annual LUX Wellington Night Lights Festival is back once again to light up your life (and the city's waterfront and laneways). From 21 to 30 August public spaces will be transformed into works of art, showcasing the talent of international and local artists alike, as they work with light to captivate the attention of the city.

Coinciding with Wellington on a Plate, the Wellington Food Truck Trailer Park will be parked across Odlins Plaza and Frank Kitts Park. So make a night of it, and gorge yourself on art, design, technology and street food, in an amazing collaboration not to be missed.

Bright sparks can also head along to the LuxTalks - where artists will talk about their works and share their knowledge over a whole day of fun, tickets include a full day of presentations, various meals, and a great opportunity to network. Students will have to fork out $50, everyone else $100.
