NYC Deli Feast of Seven Fishes

Overview

Lombard Street favourite Pickle & Pie specialises in delicious New York-style deli cuisine. This October, as part of Welly On a Plate, the eatery is pulling the brakes on its beef cheek pies and pastrami sandwiches to throw down an Italian-American seafood feast.

The feast of seven fishes will include locally-sourced kai moana cooked in the NYC deli way. Think: fresh oysters, whole roasted fish, pastrami clam casino and smoked fish. Wine and beer will be selected and sourced from around Wellington and Italy.

Tickets include seven different seafood dishes, including two snacks on arrival and five main dishes, plus matching drinks. The event will run every Sunday in October from 4.30pm.

Visa Wellington On a Plate is set to return for its 12th year from 1–31 October with more than 100 flavour-packed events, special dining menus, burgers and craft cocktails.
