Overview

If you haven't seen this cult classic yet, now is your opportunity. As part of their Cinema Club night Southern Cross Bar and Restaurant will be hosting a free screening of Donnie Darko, a dark film centered on troubled teenage boy (Jake Gyllenhaal) and the events that occur after seeing visions of a large bunny rabbit. It's scarier than you think.

Beating out Napoleon Dynamite, this screening will be the perfect Monday evening outing with a group of friends or significant other before that dreaded Monday week start. To keep you cosy and warm during the screening there will be blankets, hot water bottles and pillows available. Along with their usual dinner and drinks menu they will also have movie snacks and popcorn for sale.

It's free and themed so hit up your local costume store to see if they have any bunny suits for hire (at least you would be extra warm, too!).
