Over 100 venues will be participating in Wellington's new ten-day Eat, Drink, Play festival this May. In an effort to generate some buzz for the hospitality community, each participating venue has been tasked with creating a Wellington-themed meal and drink pairing or hosting a unique event.
At Rosie's Red-Hot Cantina & Taco Joint, chef Ollie Edwards is presenting an interactive cooking class so you can master the art of creating smoked brisket tacos. The session on Sunday, May 16 will see participants learn how to hand-press tortillas, make fresh pickles and whip up next-level guacamole and marinade. The class will then focus on creating mouthwatering smoked brisket and pull-apart pork carnitas to fill out your taco feast.
The $69 ticket price includes the lesson with chef Edwards, three drinks, canapes and your own take-home goodie bag full of recipes and the tools to host your own taco party.
