Overview

Sunday, 6 September is Father's Day and this year QT Wellington is throwing a beer-themed high tea especially for your dear old Dad. Taking place across two days, the afternoon sipping session at Hippopotamus will involve a mouthwatering menu of delights infused with ParrotDog beer.

Executive chef Jiwon Do has taken the brewery's Terry Coco-Cacao stout and whipped it into a braised beef cheek pie, marinated the sausage rolls in a feijoa sour, and infused macarons with Bitterbitch IPA. Also on the menu: APA roasted chicken sliders and a coconut hazy IPA lamington skewer. The scones have even been kicked up a notch with pilsner.

The $45 ticket prices includes the high tea, a new seasonal release from ParrotDog or a glass of bubbles. Guests can add a flight of four ParrotDog beers for $10. Further, there will be opportunities for Dad to win spot prizes, including a brewery tour and new threads.
