Overview

Putting five of the globe's most interesting voices in food in the same room, with Susie Ferguson moderating the conversation, and asking them to talk about women cooking and cheffing in 2018 and beyond? Good on ya, WOAP. It's a start.

Chefs Monique Fiso (Hiakai, Wellington), Analiese Gregory (Franklin, Hobart), Maxine Scheckter (Sugar Flour, Wellington), Laura Greenfield (Field & Green, Wellington), and Anna Hansen (The Modern Pantry, London) is quite the lineup.

Over the course of the evening these five incredible women will talk about their backgrounds, their experiences in the food industry, and what it's like to be a woman in what is statistically as well as anecdotally a man's world: the commercial kitchen.

The event has been created to celebrate the 125th anniversary of women's suffrage in association with Eat NZ, an awesome collective who have conspired to create a national platform to promote and champion our best food, drink and culinary tourism opportunities. The event is also a very manageable tenner.
