Overview

Award-winning company My Accomplice (Joseph K, A Play About Space, Watch) presents Tiny Deaths - A Series of Monologues On Love And Sex. Written by Uther Dean (Winner of Best Solo at the 2014 New Zealand Fringe Awards, nominated for Best New New Zealand Play at the 2014 Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards) and co-directed by Dean and Hilary Penwarden, Tiny Deaths is an evening filled with odd and beautiful love stories.

Dean has written twelve monologues that will be recited by six of young female actors - Hannah Banks, Alice May Connolly, Keagan Carr Fransch, Brianne Kerr, Hilary Penwarden and Freya Daly Sadgrove. Proving to be some of Wellington's most exciting actresses, the cast are are an alumnae of Wellington's most innovative companies including Long Cloud Theatre, Bright Orange Walls and The Bacchanals.

Tiny Deaths is a modern exploration of love and sex. It will discuss the awkward things no one wants to talk - the first kiss, the weird bits during sex. Good for groups, maybe not so good for first dates.
