Overview

Fresh from her tour in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and as an opening act for local legendary indie pop act The Chills, indie folk songstress Tiny Ruins and her full band returns to Wellington on Saturday, 3 November at San Fran as part of her How Much tour.

Taking its name from Tiny Ruins's latest single, 'How Much', the song examines our capacity to handle life's stresses, the fragile and often fleeting nature of human hapiness. It intertwines an atmsopherically sparse backing with Tiny Ruins's flawless songwriting to create a piece that is both forceful and hushed. It will undoubtedly be a highlight from a band noted for its tenacity and lively dynamism onstage.

While Tiny Ruins' knack for storytelling, quiet charisma and charm plays second fiddle only to her musical ability. Although they've toured the globe many times over, the joy that Tiny Ruins and her band convey when they're playing on home soil is palpable; so make sure you don't miss out on an evening of world-class music produced by one of our own.
