Overview
With the devastating bushfires sweeping across Australia, it's been hard to know what to do or how to help. In light of all the destruction to homes, wildlife and the impact on the volunteer firefighters, New Zealanders have come to the aid of our neighbours in their time of need.
Variety for Fireys is just that, a collective of talented Wellington locals bringing humour, joy and pure entertainment with a good cause at heart — the Red Cross Australia Bushfire Appeal.
The event is hosted by best-selling author Emily Writes, acclaimed poet Chris Tse, and award-winning actress turned comedian Sera Devcich. All well-known in their own rights, it's a variety show that brings together the best of Wellington's creative community, all for a good cause.
