Overview

The Wellington Wine and Food Festival brings together some of life’s greatest joys - namely wine, music, and food.

In an atmosphere that reflects the very best elements of Wellington, the Wellington Wine and Food Festival aims to offer punters the chance to enjoy the very best wine, food and music that the region has to offer. Bringing together the best food carts, cuisine, boutique operators, caterers and restaurants of the wider Wellington region, and pairing them with local breweries and wineries, the festival presents an exceptional display of wining and dining experiences.

MKR Chefs, Mt Vic Chippery, Crab Shack, Shed 5, St Johns, Dockside and the Tasting Room are just some of the many fantastic members of Wellington’s cuisine scene who will be converging on the waterfront to display their prowess through culinary delights such as L&P Ghetto sticky ribs, prawns in creamy crayfish bisque, and Cool-As Cucumber gelato. With local craft beers and Wairarapa wines on hand to wash down these tasty treats, the only foreseeable issue is finding enough room to fit it all in.

Taste is not the only sense to be receiving a plethora of treats at the festival, with several local bands on board to ensure that all ears are taken care of too. These include top covers band The Noodles, New Orleans second-line-brass-band The Richter City Rebels, party band The Satisfactions, and three-piece rock band Uncle Monkey.

The event has been split into four sessions, and punters are able to choose which session they would like to attend when purchasing tickets.

Session 1: Friday 20th March 4:30pm – 10:00pm
Session 2: Saturday 21st March 12.00pm – 4.30pm
Session 3: Saturday 21st March 5.30pm – 10.00pm
Session 4: Sunday 22nd March 12.00pm– 5.00pm
