Overview

New Zealand is turning into something of a drum and bass haven. Following Belgian producer Netsky, who recently completed a summer tour on New Zealand soil, is fellow big-name international producer Wilkinson. The South London drum and bass producer has been given the all-clear to tour the promised land in May. He'll bring his high-energy show to Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Hawke's Bay.

Wilkinson carved his path in the drum and bass scene with releases on the infamous Hospital Records, before joining Andy C's RAM Records. His penchant for lush melodies and remixes has also led to collaborations with everyone from pop stalwarts Ed Sheeran and Katy B to electronic kingpins Nero, Chase & Status and Naughty Boy.

At the one-off headline shows in Wellington (13 May), you can expect chart-topping hits like 'Take You Higher', 'Illuminate' and 'Afterglow', as well as bangers from the wider drum and bass genre. Wilkinson will be supported with his trusty emcee Ad-Apt, with a flurry of Kiwi drum and bass support acts to be announced.
