Overview

There's something magical about this time of year in the capital. Summer's winding down and the nights are getting cooler. Yet the city's still thriving with the culture that makes it special. Thanks to the latest Te Papa exhibition, the fun doesn't have to be saved for the weekends. There's a midweek reprieve for all of us artsy folk. 'Alice in Wonderland' sets the scene for this multimedia experience.

Inspired by our national museum's new Wonderland exhibition, the adjacent talk series covers themes of animation, language, mental health, feminism, and creativity. Join Weta's Mariya Kalachova, translator and academic Tom Roa, and some of the country's best creatives and forward-thinkers in wellbeing for drinks, dinner-time snacks and in-depth discussions on this exciting exhibition.

Descend into the rabbit hole and explore the magic of Wonderland — an interactive exhibition that celebrates Lewis Carroll's timeless stories. Tickets and information about each session are available on Te Papa's website.
