Overview
The small but mighty Cuba Street Kababery (not a word, but we’re rolling with it).
Nestled between a host of other food vendors which could please any hungry partygoer, Babylon Kebab is easily missed. Missing it, though, would be a mistake. It may be small, but it is mighty. Attending to the hunger pangs of any drunken town-goer is no small task, and the particular kebab vendor does just that with aplomb. This establishment joins the ranks of superhero kebab vendors, saving countless partygoers from their ravenous hunger with their delectable, Turkish cuisine.
Not only this, but they have a great team to take care of all your drunken (and non-drunken) needs. One Zomato reviewer wrote that as a vegan, when a bit of yoghurt was accidentally put on her kebab the staff insisted a new one was made, and were hugely apologetic. Their menu is extensive, if you feel like branching out from the traditional post-town kebab (unlikely, I know, but we’ll mention it anyway), with options including Turkish pizza ($12-$15), iskenders ($12.50-$13.50), and shish plates ($16-$20). However, if you’re keen to stick to the standard and oh-so-amazing drunk feed option that is a kebab then give one of their zucchini and carrot kebabs ($8) a whirl.
Next time you find yourself gripped by that all-too-familiar fermented hunger, Babylon Kebab is guaranteed to bring you back from the brink and allow you to make your journey home no less tragic, but at least nourished and happy.
