Overview

What you get at Fusion is the pure unadulterated cool which other stores strive for but have too much business sense to acquire.

The surf shop strives to employ the real deal of the scene - those who use retail as their stable income while quietly moonlighting in their respective careers in tattoo artistry, animation or skating (regularly converting the store into their own indoor skate ramp after work). As a result, they're quite aloof (artisans aren't usually people's people), which has a weird psychological effect of you wanting their approval without quite knowing why.

The great thing about Fusion though, is that you'll never feel harassed walking around the shop floor. Which is a nice change. Flag down and interrupt the guy behind the counter from sketching his next masterpiece on the back of a piece of receipt paper if you really must, but otherwise just enjoy the shopping experience of looking through (and potentially buying) some high quality surf threads.
