Like the mythological creators it is named after, Pegasus is a bit of a legend in Wellington. Starting from humble beginnings as a stand at the local market, the clever bibliophiles behind Pegasus located to the shop 12 years ago, were they’ve been happily trading since.
Walking though the labyrinth-like rooms, from one carefully selected section to another is an experience all in itself. From the wall hangings to the though fully placed reading chairs, the store has been set out with expert precision. For those of you seeking a bit of a thrill, you’re welcome to climb up the floor to ceiling ladders to continue your search for the perfect read. Also make sure you hunt out the caged "Bird" section, the display is well worth it.
Pegasus is a warm, colourful, and inviting place, where every interest can be indulged, and each hobby explored through the printed word.
