Swonderful Boutique is a family owned and operated clothing and gift store, built up by mother and daughter Frances and Virginia McMullen, housing the independent clothing line, and other locally made crafts. All clothing under labels Papercup and The Typing Pool is made in New Zealand – no sweatshops whatsoever. Printed tees are printed on the renowned AS Colour tees – high quality and ethically sound. Neat.

Swonderful stocks vintage-style clothing reminiscent of 1950s housewives, made for the modern consumer. Carefully selected prints and flattering designs mean you’ll find something unique. A popular go-to for special occasion and/or bridesmaids dresses.

You’ll also find an array of arty treasures which make excellent gifts – prints, cards, jewellery, calendars and organic vegan lip balms. Bonus: all gifts are wrapped for free, taking the cuteness that one step further.

They have a great website, too, with free shipping for orders over $50.
