Abel Tasman Coast Track
Attack this five-day trek with a self-guided tour following a Department of Conservation map or via a guided tour with snacks, meals and accommodation provided for you.
Overview
If you're a seasoned hiker, you could do this without a guide by following a Department of Conservation map and information pamphlet. But there are also several companies that offer excellent guides who will take you through five days of walking at your pace, providing snacks and meals and invaluable information — all you'll have to carry is your day pack. You'll find several campsites and beachfront huts along the trek.
