Overview

The menu boasts a range of exciting things to get your tastebuds going. Pikelets, crumpets, bruschetta.. Oh my.

I got the poached eggs on turkish bread, with a side of mushrooms, tomato, and ham off the bone. Delish. You can add as many sides as you want to any of the meals they offer, or even build up your own dish from scratch. Shaky Isles is actually a bit of a vegetarian’s paradise - they seem to have lots of options for non-meat eaters, which is good news for the ever-expanding group.

The establishment also has very reasonably priced drinks, with coffees around the $4 mark. I ordered the Whittakers Mocha to finish off my meal. In three words, the drink was; rich, spicy, chocolatey. It’s served with a Whittakers Sante Bar, which is melting into the cup as it arrives at your table. Mmm.

Shaky Isles is definitely a place I will be coming back to in the not so distant future - if only to devour that heavenly melty-chocolate beverage once more.
