The LATE series is a set of unique and inspiring talks and performances held at the Auckland Museum.
For The Cult of Food edition, held on August 11 at 6pm, food experts such as Wairarapa-born celebrity chef Al Brown (The Depot, Federal Delicatessen); AUT Professor of Public Health Grant Schofield; the University of Auckland's Professor of Epidemology Rod Jackson; and Anne Thorp from the Maori TV series Kai Ora will discuss New Zealand's food identity, looking into local Kiwi eating habits as well as the culture of food in the past, present and future.
Megan May, the co-founder of Little Bird Unbakery, will also be hosting a live raw food cooking demo on the night.
