Overview
Ever since the days of Channel Z , Weezer has been resonating across New Zealand airwaves. Personally, their barnstorming single, Hash Pipe, was a highlight for me, epitomising their grungy rock sound. Along with other well-known tracks such as Buddy Holly, Say It Ain't So and Island in the Sun, the past two decades have proved to be mega-successful for this group. Some of these are featured on The Blue Album, their debut album produced in 1994, which Weezer will play from front to back on Friday, January 11 2013 at Vector Arena.
With the sad decline of the New Zealand leg of the Big Day Out festival, don't miss this opportunity to see some internationally-acclaimed rock this Summer, with Weezer's first tour down under for 16 years.
