Name: Adam Bryce

What do you do: I'm Creative Director of Glassons, Post Creative/Post New and Slamxhype

How did you start off in the industry: I was always obsessed with fashion. I knew what I wanted to do from about the age of 12 or 13. When I left school I spent time assisting stylists, interning at brands and magazines and then moved to London where I studied fashion at Central St. Martins.

Favourite City: New York or London

Best piece of advice you've ever received: Don't ever forget where you came from. My Grandmother taught me that.

Your must have piece for winter 2013: Jil Sander wool coat.

Last thing you bought: Hood by Air Sweatshirt.

What are you most looking forward to this year: I've been at Glassons just over 4 months now, and much of that time has been spent working away behind the scenes to make change. I'm most looking forward to seeing some of this hard work come to the forefront.

For winter 2013, Glassons has joined forces with New York-based street style photographer Maya Handley (née Villiger) to create its latest campaign ‘Stand Out’. Glassons’ creative director Adam Bryce explains his reasons for choosing the self-taught photographer:

“We love the way she captures reality, not just aesthetically, but in her ability to cast real people and interesting people at that” says Bryce. “Transfixed by this approach of shooting real people in real spaces, Handley allows the viewer to dream about the person, and this is exactly what we’re invited to do with Glassons’ latest campaign.”

‘Stand Out’ shows off Glassons’ newest collections, ‘Sheer Romance’ and ‘Rustic Wanderlust’. The stories are contrasting yet complementary, one with its vintage and soft colours and the other ‘urban chic’ with a serious edge. Marking a turning point in Glassons’ aesthetic and approach, ‘Stand Out’ heralds a new chapter for Glassons; one that’s sure to stand out and make a noise.
