Ah, Christmas. A time to wind down, tie up loose ends, and calm down — but not if you're The Beths.
After a whirlwind year of bouncing around, touring Germany, Czech Republic and the USA, receiving a Silver Scroll nomination and releasing their debut album 'Future Me Hates Me' — a sensation dubbed "one of the most impressive indie-rock debuts of the year" — you'd think The Beths would be spent by now.
Although this last string of dates may be brief (they're off to open for indie wizards Death Cab for Cutie in Europe), they just can't seem to spoil the silly season for all their loyal Kiwi fans. With a decision to donate all the profits to Girls Rock Camp Aotearoa and Women's Refuge (because Christmas can be tough) these two last gigs at Meow and Leigh Sawmill should make the end of 2018 rock your Christmas stocking.
Make sure not to miss The Beths one last indie rock time at A Very Beths Xmas Party – and bring your ugliest Christmas sweater.
