Apt Y Idos
Everybody knows that a reliance on technology can be alienating.
Overview
Everybody knows a reliance on technology can be alienating but Apt Y Idos gives this idea a fresh, powerful physicality.
Choreographed by Natalie Marie Clark the theatrical dance work depicts a bizarre pseudo-world in which human connection seems awkward and unattainable, where televisions have bodies, people become literally frozen at their computers and the common language is gibberish.
Accompanied by original music from Lucy Beeler (a.k.a. Lttle Phnx) and James Risbey, Apt Y Idos is striking in both its ideas and form. An poignant production which depicts how communication technologies ultimately leave us disconnected.
