If you aren't going away this Anniversary Weekend the good news is you won't be short of some cracking entertainment; the Auckland International Buskers Festival is on its way. Full of the unexpected, acts include the highly-skilled circus fools Picapau and Mantega; acrobatic cyclist Jessica Arpin; stuntman, contortionist, escapologist, clown and sword-swallowing Murray Molloy; Billions Cobra, who has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Equilibrium Circus with their  explosive Feets of Fire acrobatics.

Performances take place all over central Auckland, including Viaduct Harbour, Downtown Westfield, Vulcan Lane, Wynyard Quarter and Princes Wharf. The festival runs from Friday 25 to Monday 28 January and day shows start every day at 12pm. Night shows offer a bit of everything and take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7.30pm to 10pm in Market Square, Viaduct Harbour.
