Auckland Wine Week will make its debut from 13–23 June showcasing the region's rich winemaking scene with events from Waiheke Island to West Auckland and Matakana.
Ticket holders are invited to escape to the Island of Wine for an all-inclusive vino adventure on Sunday, 16 June, head north for an afternoon of rare and hard-to-find gems in Matakana on Saturday, 22 June, or journey west to Auckland's oldest wine region for a day of premium and reserve tastings on Sunday, 23 June.
Local restaurants and bars including Gusto, Augustus Bistro and Britomart's Seafarers Club are joining in with Italian feasts, matched winemakers dinners and wine tastings across the week, while wine tasting event Winetopia hits the waterfront on Friday, 14 and Saturday, 15 June.
