Two of the world's greatest guilty pleasures will come together this June. From new culinary company Bacon & Dreams comes Bacon & Cheese — an appropriately titled bacon and cheese-themed restaurant pop-up.
Dominic van den Broek is the brains behind the outfit. The former culinary coach and hospitality operations manager got the idea for the dining experience from a love of the salty, gooey, greasy, comforting combination and the common phrase "when in doubt, put bacon and cheese on it".
At Bacon & Cheese the set menu will include a total of six courses, with each including at least bacon and cheese element. Tickets are $59 with drinks available for an additional cost. The one-off pop-up will take place across two seatings at Auckland's Fresh Factory on Thursday 7 June.
