Overview
Not quite breakfast, not quite lunch; brunch is the hybrid meal when drinking before noon becomes totally acceptable. It's also the irresistible sponge soaking up that first home deposit (here's looking at you, smashed avo). The most popular meal of the day will be enhanced at east Auckland restaurant and bar Basalt on Saturday, 14 December as it hosts a Christmas-themed bottomless dining session.
At the two-hour event, diners will have their fill of bottomless prosecco, mimosas, bellinis or bloody marys accompanied by a festive selection of brunch classics. Basalt's resident DJ will provide the soundtrack. Bookings are essential, and there is a maximum group size of 12 people.
