Before kicking off with stellar events like Experimental Dance Week and Auckland Fringe Festival, Auckland's home of emerging theatre makers is flinging open its doors to embrace 2019 — and you're invited.

Over three carefully curated hours, Basement Theatre is hosting a raft of established and emerging New Zealand artists guaranteed to fill dance floors and hearts with positive vibes this summer.

Dara will kick the evening off at 8pm with a scintillating selection of soul, funk and disco. Dance-party-in-human-form Disasteradio will be up next. Winging his way from Wellington, his delicious synth pop sounds are a favourite amongst the hipper escheons of the Auckland party scene – make sure you check him out to find out why.
