Overview

If you're free lunchtime on Friday, June 23 and fancy a gourmet burger made with only the finest ethically-sourced ingredients, then head down to Aotea Square between 12pm and 3pm.

For as little as a gold coin donation, you can pick up a Bean Supreme burger made by the team at Mint Kitchen under Michelin Star chef Jamie Miller. On offer will be a selection of Bean Supreme's top selling flavours including: black bean and beetroot, kumara, and the brand new masala flavour.

Funds raised from the burger pop-up will be donated to the SPCA with Bean Supreme matching donations made on the day. As a vegetarian company, Bean Supreme has a close relationship with the SPCA and are dedicated sponsors of the worthy cause.

Founder of Bean Supreme and avid surfer Paul Johnston started the company back in 1984 selling tofu at a meat-loving Kiwi market. After years of cultural influence, the company worked hard to win over its customers and have become one of the top vegetarian products locally made. In 2015, the company launched the burger range, as well as falafel, vegetarian meatballs, lasagne and plant-based sausages, in addition to their famous tofu.

Recruit your colleagues, bring your loose change, and make a donation to a good cause, and receive a darn good burger in exchange.
