Overview

Beastwars return to the stage for the first time in two years with a four-date tour across New Zealand.

The sludgey doom metal band has been in hiatus since lead singer Matt Hyde was diagnosed with cancer in 2017, just after the release of their third album. Now Matt has been given a clean bill of health, the band is ready to celebrate in Auckland on Saturday 21 July at Galatos with Old Loaves and Somme.

Beastwars's setlist will feature songs spanning their discography, including Beastwars, Blood Becomes Fire and The Death of All Things. Well known for massive riffs and Matt's rasping bellow, Beastwars is a must-watch for fans of local metal.
