One of our favourite Australians, Bernard Fanning, heads across the ditch in support of the release of his new album Departures.
The Departures tour presents the first chance to hear his forthcoming album live, with the album to be released on Friday the 7th of June, the same day as when the tickets go on sale.
The former Powderfinger frontman has already seen his single 'Battleships' climb into the New Zealand Top 20 rock radio charts, emulating the success of his previous solo hit 'Wish You Well', as well as the treasure trove that is Powderfinger's back catalogue.
Bernard says, “I can't wait to get to NZ with a new batch of tunes and a new band. This new album is much more energetic so it's going to make for a really dynamic show when paired with the stuff from Tea & Sympathy. I hope to see you somewhere out there.”
