Biacraft Vietnam

A taste of Vietnam's good beer revolution.

Overview

Vietnam has always had an incredible beer culture. All over Hanoi people spill over sidewalks in bia hoi bars, sitting on tiny plastic chairs shoulder to shoulder with strangers. They drink beer that was brewed out the back and pay less than 50 cents a glass. It's cheap and fun, but you'd never accuse the beer of being flavourful or interesting.

Further south in Saigon, there's a handful of breweries who are aiming to change that, starting a good beer revolution. They're creating brews that are universally delicious but uniquely Vietnamese. Beer Without Borders (BWB) and Lovebucket clearly appreciate what they're up to and will host a tasting of seven of the best beers from Pasteur Street Brewing Company and East West Brewing Co.

Dominic Kelly (Director at BWB) will take you through the tastiest drops both breweries have to offer, including the first Vietnamese beer to win a World Beer Cup Gold Medal: Pasteur Street's Cyclo Imperial Chocolate Stout. This beautiful brew features cinnamon, cacao nibs and vanilla beans, all sourced in Vietnam, and has to be tasted to be believed. Book now, limited spots available.
