Overview

The Big Screen Symposium is the biggest film and television industry event of the year open to the public - featuring talks from the likes of producer Alix Madigan (Winter's Bone), screenwriter Lee Aronsohn (Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men), actors/directors Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement (What We Do in the Shadows) and director Jennifer Kent (The Babadook).

From funding and marketing shoestring budget films, to writing a genuinely great comedy or drama, the Big Screen Symposium's collection of masterclasses, talks and case studies are as informative and interesting for industry grommits as they are for those who've been around the block a few times.

$325 is a small price to pay for the heavy dose of inspiration the weekend serves.
