Bon Appétit with Stella Artois

Overview

Ok, so all your friends are living it up in Europe at the moment — but luckily French bistro Atelier is serving up a little slice of Paris right on K' Road.

Along with Stella Artois, the restaurant is running the dining series Bon Appétit with Stella Artois over consecutive Tuesday evenings throughout July and August.

For $80 a head, attendees will be treated to a Euro-inspired feast using traditional French techniques paired with local produce, including sourdough bread and organic butter, beer-braised pork rillettes, and sous vide Angus beef brisket in dark beer.

All that will be accompanied by live entertainment and two chalices of Stella Artois — don't worry, there are other bevvy options if you're not a beer fan. The part that might divide diners (including the table) is the connection containers placed on each table – small boxes that you place your phone in at the start of dinner to connect with your dining companions. If you're a chronic food snapper you might need to sneak it out of the box to nab a pic or two.

The Bon Appetit series will be held over eight sittings on four consecutive Tuesday evenings: July 19 from 6pm – 8.00pm and 8.30pm – 10.30pm, July 26 from 6pm – 8.00pm and 8.30pm – 10.30pm, August 2 from 6pm – 8.00pm and 8.30pm – 10.30pm and August 9 from 6pm – 8.00pm and 8.30pm – 10.30pm.
