Overview

Once again, The Wine Cellar and Whammy Bar will join forces with spectacular results. Promising "two nights of total music saturation" spread across two venues, Borderline Music Festival is Auckland's annual celebration of New Zealand's underground scene, underground.

With such a broad scope, the lineup is as diverse as you'd expect and features both established and emerging artists. Friday features electroclash darling Coco Solid, the perpetually well-dressed psychedelic-pop stylings of Orchestra of Spheres, plus the dulcet tones of indie singer-songwriter Miller Yule.

On Saturday, effervescent indie pop band Polyester will be joined by country powerhouse Tom Cunliffe and the dark ambience of Undiscovered Moons Of Saturn. If you enjoy discovering new music on your nights out, festival passes are $25 at Under the Radar.
