Overview

After selling out his last concert in New Zealand on the Doo-Wops & Holligans tour, Bruno Mars will perform one show at Vector Arena on Saturday, March 15.

The Hawaiian-born musician kicked off his music career producing songs for other artists and co-founding the production team The Smeezingtons who have crafted songs for a diverse roster of talent, including B.o.B's Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single, 'Nothin' On You', and worldwide hit 'Fuck You' by Cee-Lo Green. Mars' debut solo album ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’ spurred singles, ‘Just The Way You Are’, ‘The Lazy Song’ and ‘Grenade’ - reaching five-times platinum sales in New Zealand and more than 39-times platinum worldwide. His sophomore album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ is significantly more explicit than its predecessor delving into themes such as sex and revenge. It won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2014 annual ceremony.

He will be joined by a full band with support from Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, Miguel.
